There is an abundance of tourist attractions within easy travelling distance of the hotel. Not to be missed is a visit to Highland Wineries at Moniack Castle. The winery is a unique enterprise, situated three miles from the hotel. The wines and preserves reflect the natural ingredients growing around Moniack Castle. For centuries people have been making wines from wild flowers, fruits and tree sap. This tradition is carried out at Moniack.

Why not take a cruise on the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness, which you can join at Inverness and spend time admiring the beautiful scenery including the ruins of Urquhart Castle at Drumnadrochit. For the walker or rambler there is a limitless choice, including the Reelig Forest Walk that boasts some of the tallest trees in Britain.

For the golfer, there is an 18-hole golf course, 5,557 yards, par 69, at Muir of Ord, approximately five miles from the hotel. There is also a 9-hole course, 2,439 yards, par 33, at Aigas, approximately seven miles from the hotel. For those interested in shooting, fishing or bird watching, Brockies Lodge is an ideal base from which to pursue these activities.
