Charlies is a City Centre Cafe/Restaurant with 40 seats, situated next to the Inverness Bus Station also selling newspapers, magazines, sweets and ice cream.

We are a family run business that first opened in 1952 and in 2004 our premises were rebuilt from the ground up into our new, modern facility. It now boasts air conditioning, customer toilets, disabled toilets and baby changing facilities.

What is Eat Safe?
It is an award scheme run by the Food Standards Agency Scotland which promotes excellence in Food Hygiene. It is given by enforcement officers to catering establishments that operate to standards above those currently required by law. Visit their website to find out more.

Charlie's Fish Bar, or Charlies Chippy as it's locally known, has been run by the same family since 1944. Holders of the Sea Fish Authority Friers Quality Award, we use only the finest quality locally grown potatoes when available, and superior frozen at sea Haddock fillets. If you don't fancy fish, choose something from our extensive Take-Away Menu.
