Welcome to James Stewart & Co, Solicitors & Estate Agents, Inverness. We would like to let you know the services on offer from the legal firm which goes under the name of JAMES STEWART & Co. We currently operate from two offices, both of which are on Culduthel Road, Inverness. The Head Office remains 57 Culduthel Road and we now have a Branch/ Property Office in the City Centre at 2 Culduthel Road. The legal services provided by the firm are as varying and different as the clients themselves who seek our services or as the individuals who make up the firm. If you are not familiar with us as a legal firm, then hopefully the following information will help you. If you are already familiar with our services and have used us in the past then we thank you for doing so and we look forward to being of help to you, if we can, on a future occasion. The firm of JAMES STEWART & Co, although fairly young in terms of years (established November 1994) has as its principal solicitor James Stewart who has been in private practice in Scotland as a solicitor for over 30 years. The firm now has two Partners, James himself and Andrew Murchison, who qualified as a Solicitor in 1993. Since start up the firm has expanded both its client base and the range of services now being offered. Our team at James Stewart & Co is very conscious of the need for a personal service in the provision of legal services in this impersonal age and it is the prime desire at James Stewart & Co that our clients would find this to be the case. After all each client is an individual with his or her own particular and personal set of circumstances and that is always our starting off point. Our office team comprise of James and Andrew, who oversee the firm with three fully qualified and experienced solicitors backed up with a competent and friendly full time support staff of eight. Our Property Sales department consists of Christine and Neil, either of whom will be happy to help on any aspect of property sales. James is an Accredited Specialist from the Law Society of Scotland in the "fields" of both Agricultural and Crofting Law.
